FROM CUP TO DISH: 3D BIOPRINTING AND MENSTRUAL STEM CELL CULTURE

This independent Canada Council funded research conducted as a solo investigation by WhiteFeather led directly to the development of the project, Sentient Clit: The Pussification of Biotech with Jiabao Li, which has been presented globally and received an Ars Electronica S+T+ARTS Prize 2024 jury nomination.

WhiteFeather conducted this preliminary technical research as an adjacent and complementary investigation to her doctoral research in tissue engineering with menstrual fluid, from 2019-2023, drawing on her ten years of experience in bioengineering methods. WhiteFeather's collaborators on the project, who invited her to their lab in Montreal, are not permitted to be publicly named due to legal stipulations imposed by the institution in which they work. These collaborators contributed to The Pussification of Biotech project under WhiteFeather's direction.
